Biography
Phillip Hill was born in 1953 in Gibraltar, a place of which he has no
recollection, and grew up in Britain, Singapore and Italy. He is half-English and
half-Italian but would like to have a dozen other halves at least. He now lives in
Rome where he makes a living mostly by repeating what other people say (some
people call this conference interpreting). He started writing poems in Mexico as
an attempt to take photographs without using a camera.
